Dried Malt Extract (DME)

 

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Dried Malt Extract is made of liquid malt extract through vacume drying. It retains all of nutritional and organoleptic benefit of Liquid malt extract.

 

ORGANOLEPTIC REQUIREMENTS:

Appearance: A light yellow to yellow powder, free  from foreign matter. Few black spots which can be grinded permit in solution. Few sediment in solution belong to normal appearance.

Odour: Pleasent and characteristically malty.      

Taste: Middle sweet taste with malt  flavor and no off foreign flavors.

PRODUCT PACKAGING:

All packaging exteriors shall be in a clean and sound condition.        

Product shall be packed into 25kg  or 20Kg bag with a minimum of four layers of paper bag with inside food grade polyethylene. The plastic inner bag has to be sealed separately.     

Soild Malt Extract should be well stored to keep from rain and moisture.

Each bag must be labelled with the following information.

SHELF LIFE

Ambient storage ( 250C ) for 12 months
