Liquid Malt Extract (LME)
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Liquid Malt Extract is the vacume evaporated extract from Malt and Barley.
ORGANOLEPTIC REQUIREMENTS:
Appearance: A yellow to dark brown viscous liquid with some turgidity but free from extraneous matter.
Odour: Pleasnt and characteristically malty.
Taste: Sweet, silghtly bitter with typical malt flavor and no off flavors.

PRODUCT PACKAGING:
All packaging exteriors shall be in a clean and sound condition.
Product shall be packed into 38±1kg pails or 294±2Kg drums or packed into flexi tank for transportation via container.
PRODUCT LABELLING:
Each drum/pail must be labelled with the following information.

Manufacturing date
Manufacturer's name / Supplier's name
Net weight
Each flexi tank must be labeled with the following information.

Manufacturing Batch Number / Batch Code
SHELF LIFE:
For drum LME:Ambient storage for 12 months, not expand to sunlight.
For flexi tank LME:3 months, not expand to sunlight.
