Rhodiola rosea is a perennial with a thick rhizome, rhizome ramifies, faint yellow radicle, brown to dark brown original rhizome, often have abscission cork, stiff and faint yellow section, upright stem, green & white in color, oblong trilobed leaves, no stalk, umbrella inflorescence, with dense terminal, yellow or yellowish green flowers, 6 to 7 month blooming period. In application of traditional Chinese medical science, it is mainly to invigorate the circulation of blood, get hemostasia, clean lung and relieve cough, cure hemoptysis, pneumonia and leukorrhea.
